About Us

Heidi Lish

SPA DIRECTOR, LEAD MASTER ESTHETICIAN AND MV OWNER

Heidi Lish is one of our owners and the Spa Director at MV. She brings multiple facets and talents to the table that help make our practice truly unique!

With over 20 years of experience early on in her career as a makeup artist, to her years, dancing professionally on the NBA court and cheering in the NFL, she definitely learned the ins and outs of the beauty world.

Heidi started Delish Beauty over eight years ago and has specialized in everything from custom airbrush tanning to ombré powder brows. Heidi really found her niche with custom brow shaping. She took her mapping techniques from learning permanent makeup and applied that to her brow wax service to give unique, flattering, brows that fit your face. She does not use stencils and it is what she has become most known for.

Heidi expanded her knowledge to skin and holds a Master Aesthetician license from NIMA. She can’t wait to share her expertise and beauty secrets she has learned over the years with you!

Did we mention she’s 50?! I think we can all learn a thing or two from Heidi.

Blaine Andersen

MD/Medical Director

Blaine considers it an honor to be selected as the medical director of MV Aesthetics & Wellness Spa. He graduated from Utah State University in 1977 and from the University of Utah Medical School in 1981. Dr. Andersen completed a general surgery residency in Pontiac, Michigan, and a plastic surgery residency in South Field, Michigan in 1989. He achieved board certification in both specialties and then returned home to practice plastic surgery from 1989 to 2021 at Logan Regional Hospital.

Early in Dr. Andersen’s career, his profession, which had focused only on surgery, adopted noninvasive cosmetic procedures. This movement was based on knowing surgery had limitations and many people did not want surgery. For example, facelifts can elevate and tighten skin but can not change the quality of the skin. Nonsurgical procedures like chemical peels and laser resurfacing can remove age-related blemishes and also replicate much of the skin-tightening benefits of surgery. Customized medical-grade skin care products combined with noninvasive cosmetic procedures result in healthier, youthful skin. Microneedling restores loss of skin collagen, injectable filler corrects age-related loss of volume in the face and can enhance desired fullness in the cheeks and lips. Botox minimizes wrinkles secondary to facial animation and with early injection, you can prevent the development of the wrinkles.

All of these procedures, and more, are available here at MV Aesthetics & Wellness Spa. Each treatment is provided by a specialized technician, registered nurse, or physician’s assistant, who uses up-to-date technology and the best available skin care products. As a plastic surgeon, Dr. Andersen will provide medical direction for these procedures that he performs and understands. We are pleased that Dr. Blaine Andersen highly recommends and endorses the team assembled at MV Spa.

Griffin Holmgren

RN/IV Therapy and Injectables

Griffin was born and raised on a large cattle ranch in Tremonton, UT which was a wonderful upbringing, but definitely not what he saw for himself for his adult life.

In 2009, Griffin began his nursing career as a CNA at 16-years old in Brigham, UT. After five years at a nursing home, he moved to McKayDee Hospital in Ogden and worked in Intermediate Care and the ICU, which was a valuable learning experience. In 2017, Griffin finished my Registered Nursing Degree and graduated from Nightingale College of Nursing.

Griffin knew that he wanted to be a nurse ever since he learned what they could do! His first job as an RN was actually injecting neuromodulators where he received some hands-on training from two dedicated nurse practitioners. Griffin wanted to get some more practice with other forms of medicine, so he started working at a rehab hospital in Ogden that specializes in traumatic brain injuries, strokes, and Parkinson’s. Later on, he transferred to Bear River Valley Hospital, started on MedSurg, and quickly jumped into emergency medicine – which was his fit! While working in the emergency room, he also worked in Life Flight ground transportation, also known as Intensive Care on wheels. Griffin is self proclaimed adrenaline junkie and great in intense situations!

Since that time, Griffin has intentionally decided to slow down and is currently working with a local home health and hospice agency, along with injecting neuromodulators such as Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin here at MV Aesthetics & Wellness Spa. Griffin is getting married this fall to the love of his life, Jordan, and they look forward to their future together! Griffin brings years of experience and his own wonderful brand of humor to our Spa. MV is lucky to have him as part of the team.

Come see me for all of your neuromodulator injections and IV therapy needs at MV Aesthetics & Wellness Spa in Logan! I have always loved medicine, educating clients, and connecting with new people. I can’t wait to meet you all!

Aspen Porter

Licensed Massage Therapist

Introducing our massage therapist Aspen Porter. Aspen earned her license through Bridgerland Applied Technologies. She loves being able to help people find the relief they need. Many people go about life in pain, and Aspen wants to help people learn ways to stop the pain. She believes that we grow from our pain, but only when we allow ourselves to learn from it. Aspen is dedicated to finding the root cause of people’s pain, and work on those areas. For her, the best feeling is when she hears clients tell her that they feel better after treatment than when they came to see her.

Aspen doesn’t perform just the same massage each time, because she believes that the best way to feel better is to target all the muscles, and doing the same technique will accomplish results. That is why Aspen is excellent at her craft, she is passionate about figuring out what is causing the issue and trying various ways to mitigate. If you are hurting, need stress relief, lymphatic work, or pampering. Aspen loves to help clients find ways to feel better.
